how materialistic.

Yep.

Oh. And BTW, we shop at almost all the same places. How ironic, eh? LOL
Hey George???? Why on *earth* is that materialistic?!?!?! Someone states their favorite things to wear……ummm…I’m all sorts of confused by your response??

What, are you only visiting us on Thursdays now? *Pout*

You’re really into brands, huh? Figures.

George: I hope there was supposed to be a smiley face and that you were stating a pun. Clothes are a bit materialistic.
EE: Yep you agree with George? Or yep on my list?
EE: Oh, I guess you like my list
Tink: Hey there you! After this weekend I’ll start posting more frequently. I’ve just been tied up with work and I have my reunion this weekend. Thanks for caring, though
Anon: Funny thing about clothes is that they usually have a brand. Yep. You got me there. Not all of us have mom to knit us things. Sorry to disappoint you.

You left out a few that you use to wear here all the time. Why did you not put those on the list?
05/10/2006 at 4:54 pm Permalink
Hmmmm, my favs (since I don’t do T13) (not that you’re in any way, shape or form interested) are a white v-neck tee shirt & blue jeans. Or yoga pants (that have NEVER seen yoga) and a tee shirt. Or capris or cargos and a tee. Are you seeing a pattern? And my Birkenstocks…yep, I swore I’d never own a pair, but they were a gift and if I’m not mistaken, they’re now grafted to my feet. Which reminds me, brightly colored nail polish on my toes & my (some say tacky) toe rings (yes, plural). Ooooo! And my black boots! I haven’t worn those since last spring
This woulda been a good photo post, lol…you could’ve gotten paid to advertise all your favorite brands
.
Glad you finally visited my place (and posted
). Have fun at your reunion….are you wearing any of the above?

I agree w/ your list. Uh..not George.
05/10/2006 at 7:21 pm Permalink
Chelle: um… yep
Robin: I do see the pattern. I really get into clothes and I can totally appreciate what you’re describing. Oh… depending on the make, I like those flannel nightgowns. I always thought those ones from VS were romantic looking.
And I did think about posting pics of these items too. I wore most of it today
I started off with the colder items then switched over to cargos and a tee as it got warmer.
And what are you talking about? LOL! I posted on your coffee tasting post
EE: Thanks EE! You’re awesome!

You have very good taste! I enjoyed reading your list.
Thanks for stopping by my blog for a visit.

Oh…yeah…I shoulda said “this” after “that”

Dude, I can’t believe I’m friends with a guy who can even come up with a list like that. No offense, but I mean, I’d be saying, “And then there’s that blue shirt…um…I think it may have a collar…and that other blue shirt…do I still have that?…and then there’s that one white pair of ankle socks…and my brown shoes are my favorite….brand?…eh?…they’re brown, and made of some kind of vaguely leather-like substance…very nice.”
I seriously have a hard time thinking of thirteen different things that I wear, much less thirteen categories of things. Dude, I’m going to have to take you to Man School. Next classes form in the Spring, sorry.

Jane: Thanks for that! I do sort of like clothes a bit, which was not the case when I was younger.
Robin: LOL! I’m still trying to figure out what you’re trying to say. I thought I was in great shape until this last comment.
Gordan: LOL! LOL! What are you trying to say??? Huh? Gonna sign me up for Man School
That’s just wrong my friend. WRONG! Go enjoy your leather-like substance
